There’s no question that all this strength that followed Kassia along the battle against cancer also came from the unconditional and unmeasurable support from Ricardo. Lovely husband and present father, he certainly gave Kassia a lot of strength. And for sure he also received a lot of strength from her! How lucky Kassia was for having a Ricardo in her life! A Ricardo who would go above and beyond to be with her in all her appointments… who got a leave of absence from work to dedicate himself to their family… who kept his pain in his pocket (what deep pocket!) to care for his wife’s pain… a Ricardo who has the best parents, who also made a big difference during this delicate moment for everyone. Fátima and Alemão… people with a huge heart and infinite goodness! Kassia told me more than once: “Fátima and Alemão are angels in my life”. Nobody disagrees!
